These Terms govern use of OWFI. By using OWFI, you agree that OWFI is a software platform for organizing owner financing transaction workflows and is not a substitute for qualified professional advice.
Platform Role
OWFI provides software tools for owner financing workflows, including buyer applications, document intake, payment workflow support, messaging, and transaction status tracking.
OWFI does not act as a lender, broker, attorney, financial advisor, title company, servicer, escrow agent, underwriter, or foreclosure provider. Users are responsible for consulting qualified professionals before making legal, financial, or transaction decisions.
User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the security of their account, using OWFI only for lawful purposes, and obtaining any professional review required for their transaction.
Buyers and sellers are responsible for reviewing all terms, documents, title information, payment obligations, and legal consequences with qualified professionals.
Applications and Verification
Buyer application information may include self-reported financial details and consent to request verification from third-party providers. Provider availability depends on configured services and user authorization.
OWFI profile indicators and reports are informational workflow aids. They are not lending decisions, underwriting decisions, guarantees, or legal determinations.
Documents and Third Parties
OWFI may receive, organize, and display documents from users, title companies, e-signature providers, or other transaction participants. Users remain responsible for confirming document accuracy and legal sufficiency.
Links to third-party services may open outside OWFI. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Payments
Payment features may be provided through third-party payment processors. OWFI does not guarantee payment timing, settlement, bank availability, or processor approval.
Users are responsible for confirming fees, payment obligations, and tax or legal consequences with qualified professionals.
Limitations
OWFI is provided without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. OWFI is not liable for decisions made by users or third parties based on information entered into or generated by the platform.
OWFI may update, suspend, or discontinue features as needed for security, compliance, reliability, or business reasons.
